Cross the harbor using the iconic Penang's ferry to Penang to the city of Butterworth on the mainland and then continue south for 1 hour to reach the firefly colony site. Sit on a boat out on Krian River estuary to see flickering firefly seeking their mates amidst the mangrove's "Berembang" trees Return to Penang via the majestic First Penang Bridge, 13. 5 km long, built by Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company (Korea) Ltd, some 30 years ago. This bridge is an iconic symbol of Penang and a must visit/experience by tourists.
